Private Peregrine moon lander will now touch down near ‘geologic enigma’

NASA has redirected a personal U.S. moon lander to a brand new landing website to extend science returns forward of crewed lunar missions.

The Peregrine lunar lander, constructed by Pittsburgh-based firm Astrobotic, is now slated to the touch down, together with a set of NASA science gear, this 12 months in an odd patch of the moon generally known as the Gruithuisen Domes.
