NASA’s PACE spacecraft accomplished its journey Tuesday, Nov. 14, from NASA’s Goddard Area Flight Middle in Greenbelt, Maryland, to the Astrotech Spacecraft Operations facility close to the company’s Kennedy Area Middle in Florida.

Engineers and technicians arrived forward of the spacecraft to arrange floor gear for offloading and processing earlier than fueling and last encapsulation.

PACE, which stands for Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, and ocean Ecosystem, is focused to launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in early 2024, from Area Launch Complicated 40 at Cape Canaveral Area Power Station in Florida.
