Star may have drawn scorching ‘hell planet’ into super-close orbit

You thought Venus was scorching? 

Whereas the planet does have a mean floor temperature of almost 900 levels Fahrenheit (500 levels Celsius), there’s an exoplanet simply 40 light-years away from Earth that has a floor temperature a scorching 3 times hotter: 3,600 levels Fahrenheit (2,000 levels Celsius). Now, new information has led scientists to develop a principle of how this “hell planet” got here to be.
