Astronomers have noticed a large black hole because it consumes the stays of a star that wandered too shut, witnessing the formation of a sizzling gasoline halo in unprecedented element. 

Because the black hole, which sits on the coronary heart of a galaxy situated 250 million light-years away, feasted on the star’s stays, scientists seen a dramatic rise in high-energy X-ray mild.
