Martin wrote that the Fireworks Galaxy is “… 20,000 light-years throughout and is 22.5 million light-years from Earth. It’s fairly dim for its measurement as it’s extremely obscured by interstellar matter on account of its proximity to the Milky Way.” Thanks, Martin!
