Swells of Hydrogen-alpha emission at left body this vista of a pair of emission nebulae — Sharpless 2–115 at higher proper, and the small planetary nebula Sh 2–116 at decrease proper. “I just like the sense of depth the completely different cloud constructions give to the picture,” the photographer writes. “As a viewer it seems to be like you might be ascending or descending into the nebula.” The shot was taken with 17 hours of publicity in SHO and RGB filters with a 6-inch f/4 scope.
