Most UFOs are ‘Chinese surveillance’ drones and ‘airborne clutter,’ Pentagon officials reveal

Intelligence businesses within the U.S. have spent the previous few years analyzing footage of lots of of current UFO encounters, they usually need the American individuals to know: It’s still not aliens (opens in new tab).

Based on a number of U.S. Division of Protection (DoD) officers who spoke anonymously to The New York Times (opens in new tab) final week, many current sightings of UFOs — or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), as the federal government prefers to name them — are seemingly simply observations of international surveillance operations or airborne muddle, similar to climate balloons.
