NASA’s new moon mission will convey science to a number of solar system locations, a senior company official mentioned Wednesday (Nov. 16).

Hours after the launch of Artemis 1 kicked off the bigger Artemis program effort to return people to the moon, a NASA official mentioned that the uncrewed mission, which lifted off at 1:47 a.m. EST (0647 GMT), is a keystone in constructing future missions with people on board.
