A global crew of scientists has discovered a brand new exoplanet that is the primary to be straight imaged because of Europe’s Gaia spacecraft — and it seems to have nuclear fusion ongoing in its core.

The crew, led by Professor Sasha Hinkley on the College of Exeter in England, found the exoplanet orbiting roughly 300 million miles (483 million kilometers) away from the star HD 206893, which is positioned about 130 light-years from Earth and is about 30% bigger than our sun.
