Extra rain is on its strategy to an already drenched California as forecasters observe two new “atmospheric rivers” kind above the Pacific Ocean on their strategy to ship large quantities of tropical moisture to the normally dry and sunny state.

After a superstorm dumped over 5 inches (12.7 centimeters) of rain in some coastal areas of California on Wednesday and Thursday (Jan. 4 and 5.), triggering flash floods and inflicting widespread energy outages, Californians have acquired solely a quick respite.
