Spacewalking NASA astronauts erect support frame for new ISS solar array

Two NASA astronauts accomplished the primary in a collection of three spacewalks to proceed upgrading the facility provide for the Worldwide House Station (ISS). 

Expedition 68 crewmates Josh Cassada and Frank Rubio labored collectively on Tuesday (Nov. 15) to organize the outside of the space station for the addition of two extra upgraded solar arrays. Their extravehicular exercise (EVA) was the sixth spacewalk since June 2021 to be devoted to the brand new ISS Roll Out Photo voltaic Arrays, or iROSAs, that are augmenting the station’s present solar panel wings.
