Astronomers discovered the unseen part of our Milky way galaxy, a massive graveyard which contains dead stars, blackholes and neutron stars.
Graveyard
All this research is published in the Royal Astronomical Society. Astronomers claimed that the size of graveyard is much bigger.
It so much bigger that height of that graveyard is almost three times that of the Milky Way. It contains remnants of dead stars, blackholes.
Height of Graveyard
All the stuff that present in the graveyard, once upon time massive stars more than eight times larger than our sun.
After studying graveyard, astronomers conclude that oldest neutron stars and black holes were created when the galaxy was younger.
And they have big change between these billions of years. Astronomers develops map for this graveyard.
The map they have generated shows that spiral arms of the Milky Way disappear in the 'galactic underworld' model.
Side view of the galactic graveyard also depicts it as being more puffed in its central than the galaxy as a whole.
Astronomers thought that puffiness is result due to energy emitted during supernova explosions. Due to energy 30%" of the stars completely ejected from the galaxy.
