After Tuesday's Solar Eclipse, Sun has developed some spots which looks like smiley face.
After Solar Eclipse
This smiley face got from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) spacecraft on October 26. Face like pattern is made of....
This smiley pattern is made of black patches.
It's formed due to coincidental positioning of Coronal holes.
Reason behind this smiley face
Coronal holes are the regions of open magnetic field, those regions are cooler and denser than outside plasma.
Due to the temperature difference between coronal holes and surrounding surfaces, coronal holes looks darker.
Coronal holes have effect on the Earth, produces charged particles known as Solar wind. Sometimes they interact with Earth's magnetic field...
By interacting with Earth's magnetic field they disturb the modern communication system, commonly known as Geomagnetic storm.
