Solar gravitational lens will be most powerful telescope

A star, galaxy, or black hole can deflect light passing nearby according to general relativity theory.

Light from distant objects can be gravitaionally lensed by using our near by objects like star, galaxy.

We can use this simple technique for making one of the most powerful telescope by using right conditiion.

Scientist have plan to use sun's gravity for making most powerful telescope to study nearby exoplanets.

Sun will be a gravitational focal point in the region of about 550 AU to 850 AU, that will give best resolution.

Position of focal point is depend on how near the exoplanet's light passes by the sun. We can place so many telescopes at that point.

All this setup will give resolution of about 10 square kilometers for objects 100 light-years away.

It will take best engineering to achieve this. Another challenge is use all the data gathered to assemble an accurate image.

Recent study shows that objects like exoplanets and neutron stars would be powerful aspirant for a solar lens telescope .
