Two small satellites at the moment are on a mission to review how space climate impacts communication alerts.

The cubesats — the Plasma Enhancements within the Ionosphere-Thermosphere Satellite tv for pc (petitSat) and the Scintillation Prediction Observations Analysis Process (SPORT) — had been launched from the International Space Station (ISS) on Dec. 29, 2022, at 8:55 a.m. EST (1355 GMT), a month after arriving on the ISS as a part of SpaceX’s 26th commercial resupply mission for NASA.
