After we consider Jupiter-type planets, we normally image huge cloud-covered worlds orbiting removed from their stars. That distance retains their risky gases from vaporizing from stellar warmth, much like what we’re aware of in our solar system. So, why are so many exoplanets referred to as “sizzling Jupiters” orbiting very near their stars? That is the query astronomers ask as they research extra of those excessive worlds.
