Planets on parade! This Week in Astronomy with Dave Eicher


Early risers can watch this week as a fantastic line of planets parades previous the Moon.

This week sees the return of Mercury, becoming a member of Mars and Saturn within the predawn sky. And on Might 4, you’ll discover a skinny crescent moon beneath and to the left of Saturn, in between Mars and Saturn. Over the following couple of days, the Moon will transfer down the parade, showing on Might 6 simply above and to the left of Mercury, anchoring the lineup.
