NASA has referred to as off a deliberate spacewalk on the final second after a big piece of Russian space particles got here dangerously near the orbital outpost.

NASA astronauts Frank Rubio and Josh Cassada had been on the brink of step out from the QUEST airlock on the International Space Station early Wednesday (Dec. 21) morning to put in new solar arrays to enhance the ability system of the orbital outpost when their floor management staff commanded them to halt the work. As a substitute, the space station will carry out an emergency maneuver to get out of the best way of a giant piece of space debris that’s on monitor to get dangerously near the lab later immediately.
