University of California workers strike for a more equitable future in education (op-ed)

At the moment marks the fourth week that College of California tutorial staff, together with myself, have been on strike. 

We’re the instructing assistants who grade scholar work and information undergraduates in discussions, labs and extra. We’re researchers who do the cutting-edge work that makes this college well-known. We’re even astronomers who uncover the wonders of the universe typically featured in House.com and throughout the web. And the College of California refuses to pay us a dwelling wage.
